Walk the Dogs is one of our best selling games. It has won several awards including 'Toy of the Year' from Family Fun Magazine. Not only is it fun, but it also helps children learn basic strategy and math skills. It's a great multi-generational game. Children can play at a very basic level while older children and adults are strategically playing. A MUST HAVE for every family!
Basic Game Play:
Begin by placing all the dogs in a row., grab a leash and get ready to Walk the Dogs! Each player collects dogs from the front or back of a long line by drawing and playing cards. But, beware of the dog catcher who may steal some of your favorite dogs. To win, collect five of the same breed in a row, or have the most dog points in your own line. Woof!

  • There are 63 dogs, 7 different breeds. Children practice counting, sorting, making patterns, basic strategy skills and learn risk & reward as they press their luck with the Dog Catcher!
  • Playing cards are picture cards. Non-readers can play
  • (Hold up scoring card): Scoring is based on number of similar dogs in a row... 2 dogs in a row=4 points; 3 in a row=9 points. When calculating score, child is introduced to basic multiplication principle.
